Let’s collaborate!

If you are reading this, there is a good chance I have approached you and asked if you would be interested in a photo session or some project I'm working on. In most cases, collaborations are my idea. On rare occasions, I participate in a collaboration that is someone else’s idea. This page is to help you understand what I'm up to and why these projects are so important to me.

The main reason I hand out my "Let's collaborate" cards is for self-promotion and creative projects. I'm not going to sell you anything. If you are the subject, your time will be the only thing I ask from you. In exchange for your time, I will share images from the session. If something you make or own is the subject, access to that subject will be what I ask. In exchange, I will share images.

I love the creative energy in a collaboration. The process of planning a session is about everyone involved having a say in the direction of the session and the creation of the final images. Most importantly, it is about respecting the boundaries and comfort levels of everyone involved. I want to create beautiful images that I'm proud of in these sessions, and that comes from good listening, proper planning, and building a comfortable and fun environment for everyone.
